Everyone of all ages are welcome to the VFD #1 in West Deer (next to Popeyes) for a free, home cooked hot meal in the dining hall every 1st and 3rd Sunday at 5 p.m.

Each meeting, there is soft optional worship and a 5 minute talk about a parable of

Jesus.

Our annual Serve Day will take place July 25th, and we are excited to work with the Comperatore Foundation as well as our friends from Crossway Community Church on ‘Corey’s Cruise’ once again!

The Comperatore Foundation was established by Helen Comperatore in honor of her husband, Corey, who sacrificed his life to protect the lives of his daughters at one of then-candidate Donald Trump’s political rallies. The foundation distributes funds to churches that positively engage and support their communities in felt ways and first responder departments throughout the region. This is because Corey Comperatore was a man of deep faith and served as a Volunteer Fire Chief.

This year’s event is at the Butler Fairgrounds, just a few miles from where the rally took place. Corey’s Cruise is a day that includes a motorcycle ride, a car show, country music concerts with big name stars, and ends with fireworks. Its intent is to promote unity and peace (no more violence!) for all people- especially in matters of free speech. It is their largest fundraiser of the year, and they need help as they are expecting a HUGE turnout! They especially need help with parking guidance and managing merchandise tables.

All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt for helping and all the water and snacks you can eat! This is a great opportunity to witness God's love through serving, and I am hoping the whole Forge will turn out that day for even just a couple of hours to do their part. Use button below to sign up.

This is a celebration for our Kids with a huge benefit to their parents. PARENTS!!!! Bring your kids to the church on Friday, Aug. 7th, at 6:30pm. Our Foundry Team will feed your kids pizza for dinner, play a couple of games and then settle in with snacks, to watch a movie. Parents can go have a date or go shopping, or spend your "kid free evening" however you wish. Pick up time is 9:30pm. Kids can wear PJ's, if they would like, and bring a blanket, etc.   Click below to register.
